ABOUT MTVT

MINIs Take Vermont (MTVT) is a 501(c)(7) social club that hosts an annual event every Autumn in the great state of Vermont. MINI owners from all over New England, the US Eastern Seaboard, the Canadian Provinces, and beyond come together for good company, fall foliage, and incredible twisty drives!

MTVT originated as a fun weekend getaway for Kay Masta, Josh Amato, and Melinda O'Neil's home club of MINIs of Boston. What started off as a small group heading to Vermont for a leisurely weekend turned into a much bigger event once the planning began!

The first two years of the event were held at Stratton Resort in southern Vermont. The first year came together in only a couple of months’ time, but people seemed to love the idea! The first year had 47 MINIs from 7 states, which is beyond what our expectations were. It was a jam-packed weekend, but it was so memorable that word began to spread among the MINI community.

As word spread, so did the importance of planning and logistics. The event more than doubled the second year which brought a whole new set of challenges: we needed more space, more rallies, and more help. Each year, we have some amazing members that volunteer to be rally leaders and sweepers, without whom we couldn't run this event.

In 2022, we incorporated MTVT in Vermont as a 501(c)(7) social club.
