Hand-built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) between 1933 and 1935, this winding mountain pass was practically designed for the MINI’s legendary handling. From the technical switchbacks to the sweeping views, it’s the ultimate Vermont driving experience.
 
The Details:
The Mid-Way Pit Stop: Take a breather at the stone pavilion for a picnic with the iconic Willoughby Gap as your backdrop—perfect for a group photo op.
The Summit Scenery: Park at the top and trek up the historic fire tower. You’ll be rewarded with 360° views of the surrounding mountain ranges in their peak autumn glory.
Toll Road Hours: The toll road is open from dawn until dusk

In 2021, Travis Pastrana blasted up this road in his "Air Slayer" STI in just under 2 minutes. While we know your MINI feels like a rocket, please do not try to beat his record. Save the spirited driving for the designated twisties and enjoy the "low and slow" scenic climb to the clouds.
